You all know that I'm a Disney girl at heart but with the recent park changes and adjustments, I've fell in love with Universal Orlando again!

8. You can move park to park so easily!
The most magical way to move parks is by the Hogwarts Express but the walk is very manageable as well.

7. They take their mask and social distancing policies seriously.
I've been asked to pull up my mask while taking a sip of a drink in a store. They are constantly enforcing the mask policy and I appreciate that. The social distancing is more difficult but I will say they do have lots of markings and signs to make it work the best it can!

6. Universal has made social distancing fun.
The character encounters seem even more fun than before and honestly I feel like I have seen more out and about. They also try to approach people in a fun manner if they are not quite following the rules.
5. You do not need park reservations to come play.
This is huge. After my initial days at Disney I don't see another weekend available for me to book until September... and I'm paying for August. Hmmm.... Universal does have a capacity so if it reaches that number they would deny entry. Those staying at a Universal Orlando Resort would have guaranteed entry.

4. The annual passes are very reasonably priced.
I elected to buy the preferred pass which cost about $360. This pass includes free parking and no blackout dates. And right now they are offering 3 months free so 15 months for the price of 12!! The premiere pass includes a Halloween Horror Nights ticket, quick queue after 4:00pm, and valet parking. Find more information about annual passes here.
3. Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventures
All I will say is that it is a great coaster (Mako is my favorite in Orlando). I don't want to ruin it for you and don't watch spoilers! It's simply an amazing ride and so well done. Bravo Universal.
Make sure to grab a virtual queue spot when you enter. I've gotten them from the garage before! You can usually start grabbing them around 20 minutes before opening on the app.

2. The Bourne Stuntacular
If you saw my Instagram story you know how incredible I though this show was. If I wasn't wearing a mask you would have seen my jaw drop! It was visually stunning and the stunts were ridiculous. The lines between techonolgy and reality were blurred and I LOVED it. I can't wait to go see it again! Now is also a great time to see it because, due to social distancing, everyone seems to be able to see the stage well.

1. Universal Orlando cares about their Passholders
From the day I became a passholder again last month I have felt welcomed and appreciated. Some of their perks end this weekend like preferred parking, dedicated lines for parking and entering, and a free drink cup with purchase. But they also have a lounge, free monthly buttons, a discount that can be used almost anywhere on property, and good customer service. Right now I'm one happy passholder.

Have you visited Universal Orlando recently? What are your thoughts on the parks reopening? I'll be at Disney next week so I can compare more.
